Can I Ship My Vehicle To Krietz Customs To Have Work Completed?

Yes, Krietz Customs works with customers from all over the United States. All payment would need to be received prior to completion of work. Does Krietz Customs Offer Loaner Vehicles?

Krietz Customs offers loaner vehicles for customers during the duration of getting aftermarket work done with our team. The loaner vehicles will not be one of our modified vehicles, but they will be a vehicle that can get you from A to B while we are making your ride look great!

Can I have My Factory Parts Back That Were Removed From My Vehicle?

Yes, you can have your factory parts back after having work done with our team. Make sure you let someone on the aftermarket team know what you want back while they check in your vehicle. Please be specific so we know what all you would like to keep. All parts that are not specified by the customer will be thrown away.

What Is Krietz Custom’s Warranty On Parts & Labor?

Krietz Customs offers a limited 30 month/ 30,000 mile warranty on all parts and labor supplied by Krietz Customs.

Does Krietz Customs Install Customer Supplied Parts?

Krietz Customs does not install customer supplied parts. We will only install parts that we purchase

Will Adding a Lift Kit Affect My Factory Ride?

Adding a lift kit can affect your factory ride. Not all lift kits are created equal. Some are designed to be comparable to the factory ride quality and others are designed to enhance your ride. For questions or more information on what would work best for your driving habits and vehicle, call in or stop by to speak with one of our aftermarket team members.

Will Adding An Aftermarket Lift Kit Void My Factory Warranty?

Krietz Customs cannot guarantee that any lift kit or vehicle modification will not void factory warranty since it is dealer discretion. Typically, dealerships have to be able to show the lift kit impacted the component that is being warrantied in order to void it. Krietz Customs does offer a bumper to bumper warranty that will not be voided by adding a lift kit.

Can I Re-Use My Factory Suspension?

Some lift kits are designed to be able to re-use your factory suspension or to work in conjunction with your factory suspension. Not all lift kits will allow you to return your vehicle to the factory suspension. Feel free to call in with any questions in regards to your specific vehicle.

Is There Any Extra Maintenance Involved With Lifting My Vehicle?

Krietz Customs highly recommends doing an initial 500 mile lift check after adding a lift to your vehicle. This service would check over the torque specs of any added components for your lift kit. We then recommend that you keep up with your alignments, tire rotations, and basic vehicle maintenance.

What Wheels & Tires Fit On My Vehicle?

Fitment varies from vehicle to vehicle depending on whether your vehicle is stock, leveled, or lifted. For questions or more information about fitment, check our build gallery or call in to talk with one of our aftermarket experts.

What Is Trimming & Is It Required?

Trimming can be something as minor as cutting the plastic valence and felt liner, or it can be as intensive as cutting the bumper, crash bars, and/or cab mount. Not all wheel and tire setups require trimming, but this is done to help eliminate rubbing from your aftermarket wheel and tire setup. None of the cutting done by Krietz Customs would take away from the safety or structural integrity of the vehicle. Do I Get My Wheels & Tires Back?

Yes, you can get your wheels and tires back. Just let your aftermarket rep know you want them back upon check in. Your stock wheels and tires will be thrown away if you do not let someone know you want them back.

Does Krietz Customs Offer Any Protection On My New Aftermarket Wheels & Tires?

Krietz Customs offers Multi-Guard insurance on aftermarket wheels and tires. This service does not cover cosmetic damage or natural wear and tear.

I Do Not Like My Wheels, Can I Return Them?

Krietz Customs has a 30 day return policy on new and unused parts that are still in their packaging. Fees may be required for restocking.

Tint, Paint, Ceramic Coating & PPF Questions?

What Tint Product Does Krietz Customs Use?

Krietz Customs offers 3M color stable and 3M ceramic tint. Call in to ask about percentages and pricing for tinting your vehicle.

What Is the Difference Between Ceramic Coating and Paint Protection Film (PPF)?

Ceramic coating is an applicant that bonds to the paint of the vehicle and provides a protective layer to the paint, slick look, and excellent water beading properties. Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a virtually clear film that provides an extra layer of protection to your vehicle from debris and scratches.

Can I Go Through The Car Wash After My Vehicle Has Had Custom Paint Applied?

Krietz Customs does not recommend going through a car wash after having custom paint applied. We recommend handwashing, using a non-abrasive soap, and not using a pressure washer.

Can I Go Through The Car Wash After My Vehicle Has Had Tint, Ceramic Coating or PPF Applied?

Tint – Yes, you can go through a car wash after tint has been applied to your windows. Do not roll your windows down for 3 days and make sure you use an ammonia free product for cleaning the glass.

Ceramic Coating – Yes, you can go through a car wash after getting ceramic coating. You need to wait at least 24 hours after the coating is applied before washing your vehicle.

Paint Protection Film (PPF) – Yes, you can wash your car after having PPF installed. You need to wait at least 2 weeks after PPF is installed before getting it washed.

How Long Before I Can Put My Windows Down After Tint Install?

You need to wait at least 3 days before rolling your windows down. The same applies for sun roofs with window tint.
